Lewis Magri & Sons Ltd is a family operated company owned by four brothers, previously run by their father, the late Lewis Magri. Lewis continued the family tradition of Burdnara as his father and his grand-father.

    A very difficult period for family Magri was during World War II. In that period horses and carriages where used for carrying goods. They worked even at night to carry and unload goods from the vessels before an air raid.

    It was not until the mid 1940’s that the company bought it’s first trucks. As time passed all brothers joined the company bringing in innovative and modern opinions and together with skill has put this type of business at the center of all the family members.

    In present the brothers accomplish a vigorous role within the company. Charles manages the operations and deals with the employees, Dionne and Emanuel handle the un/stuffing and un/loading of goods, whilst Raymond is in charge of customs clearance, freight forwarding and administration.
